Barefoot Cyber was founded in 2017 to challenge the status quo in the cybersecurity industry. At the time, too many solutions were focused on expensive, complex technologies that promised the world but delivered little in the way of practical, lasting protection. We saw a gap—and an opportunity—to go back to basics. Our mission was simple: help businesses build strong cyber hygiene from the ground up.
The name Barefoot Cyber reflects that ethos. It speaks to our belief in cutting through complexity and focusing on the essentials. No buzzwords, no unnecessary tech for tech’s sake—just clear, practical steps to help organisations understand, manage, and reduce their cyber risk. Our services are human-centric, outcome-driven, and rooted in the belief that cybersecurity should be accessible, effective, and aligned with business reality.
